Connecting and empowering the Cultural Creatives will indeed change the world!
I saw in a comment that you're involved with Transition Towns. Is the TT community aware that the Transition Handbook is open to editing online, to create the 2nd edition? http://www.appropedia.org/The_Transition_Handbook_-_free_edit_version
Needs a pile of work and economic analysis, but I think it gets round the problem of having a central government that raises taxes in an arbitrary fashion.
Technologist, futurist, ecotopian, autodidact, pro-activist, recovering neologist, idealist, pragmatist and more.
Ideas that have meaning for me:
* Life is a positive sum game, play to win/win!
* We are living in an upside down world and a peaceful bottom up revolution is needed to fix it.
* Connecting and empowering the Cultural Creatives will change the world.
* Doing well by doing good
* Decentralized networked mutualism embedded in augmented reality
* Ecology is the key.
* All we really need is sun, dirt and water, but what if we add algae, hemp and rockdust to the mix?
Wondering about Flexible Specialisation as discussed in the book: The Second Industrial Divide.
