'Slovenian Pump' - run-of-river pump and electricity generation
The inventor, Vladimir Markovich sends the attached description of his run-of-river pump. It is a commercial development (he has patented it and intends to start manufacturing) but due to the simplicity of the set-up, I would think it may be relevant to our discussions.
After several years of testing of prototypes, last month I finished the research and development phases of my latest invention which is extremely simple but a most important product concerning water and all kinds of water current exploitation.
For example, can you imagine:
- Easy and cheap solving of problem in several hundred thousand of the poorest villages in Africa, Asia and Latin America because they have not enough water?
- Exploring and delivering absolutely the cheapest water for irrigation to millions of farms in developed and developing World?
- Cleaning of rivers from organic pollutants in the cheapest possible way?
- Getting energy from natural sources without installation of classic Power stations?
- That can all be done without waste of any existing energy!
Solving these problems was up to now probably just a dream but if you read our attached brochure (see PDF file), you can see how we intend to execute at least a big part of them.
